Access and Travel
St Peter's is in the heart of Henleaze at: The Drive, Henleaze, Bristol. BS9 4LD.
We have a car park, shared with the church hall, for up to 16 cars including one designated disabled bay. There is also plenty of street parking nearby.
First Bus operates a service (number 2) along Henleaze Road, which goes between Stockwood and Cribbs Causeway and the timetable can be found here.
Level access to the church is possible using the door on the south side of the building, adjacent to the road (The Drive). Double yellow lines on the road here can be used by individuals with a blue badge and this may be easier than using the car park.
Bike stands are available to the right of the church main entrance.
Inside the church
St Peter's has a flexible seating arrangement, using chairs that can be moved to accommodate different styles of worship and to allow for prams, buggies and wheelchairs.
If you are attending a communion service and would prefer to receive the sacrament seated, please let one of the sidespeople know when you arrive. This is not unusual. We also have gluten free wafers if these are required - just let a sidesperson know before the start of the service.
St Peter's is fitted with a hearing loop that extends around the whole building. There are a small number of 'dead' spots due to the location of pillars but these are few and do not normally cause a problem. If you find yourself caught out simply move slightly to the left or right and the loop will re-engage.
Toilets, including a modern accessible toilet, are available in the hall. These can be found by following the signs through the corridor that links the church and the hall.
Large print copies of the service booklet, hymn book, and weekly news sheet are provided, please ask if you would like one.
When the service leader uses the projector and large screen, hard print copies of text and images are generally available.
If you need any further information or help with your visit please contact the Parish Office (0117 962 4524).
