This event was a great success. Amanda Parr from BBC TV Points West compered and every seat in the church was taken.
John Davenport masterminded the forces of 140 singers including:
- residents of Henleaze and the surrounding area
- Henleaze Junior School Chamber Choir
- Red Maids Choir
- Henleaze Ladies Choir
Music included:
- a wonderful variety of songs celebrating creation composed by Hayden, Rutter, Elton John, David Bedford…and more...including students of Red Maids School
Ticket sales and the retiring collection raised £750 for Leukaemia Research
