GiFT is a series of Christian nurture courses developed by the team behind the ‘Christian basics’ Emmaus course. It aims to encourage the faith of people who will benefit from something a little stronger than ‘the milk’ of the original Emmaus course.

What is involved?
Each course in the series has four or five formal sessions with space for an informal social or shared meal gathering if groups want to take it. Each session includes prayer, Bible study, input and discussion; full notes, with timetables for each session, are available for leaders and participants.

Who wil lead?
Leaders for the GiFT courses will be a mixture of St Peter’s staff and laity, with preparation sessions being held before each course so that leaders can familiarise themselves with and discuss the content before the course sessions start

When?
The suggested timetable for the first two courses in the GiFT programme is:
· Autumn 2012: ‘Living Images’ 5 sessions between 3rd October and 25th November
· New Year 2012: ‘Called into Life’ 5 sessions between 3rd Jan and 21st February
