The Noise
Join people from Horfield, Southmead and Churches Together in the Westbury Area in a weekend of community development. The Noise involves sports and activities for young people, Kids Clubs, renovating playgrounds, clearing community areas, banquets for Senior Citizens. Part of this year’s ‘Hope 08’ programme.

For Dads with school and pre-school aged children. Mums get together quite easily: here’s a chance for Dad’s with young and youngish children to do so too!

Swimming against the tide
How to keep faith with God in adverse cultural conditions. Seven sessions taking Daniel in the Old Testament as a model for exploring faithfulness and approaches to worship in the world today. A Spring Harvest course. Co-led by Mark Pilgrim and Sharma Parry.

Prepared to care
For anyone who visits, meets and listens to others and wants to deepen their appreciation of what people are saying and develop their listening skills. ‘Prepared to Care’ is an 8 week course used and recommended elsewhere in the Diocese.

Be still and know that I am God: Prayer Experiences and Questions
Helen Williams, an experienced prayer group facilitator and member of St Peter's leads 5 sessions providing different ways to pray, each with its own set of questions.

Film and pizza evening
See a good film in the comfort of someone’s home, settle back to watch and then discuss its pros and cons, what it tells us about ourselves, society and the God who made everything (as portrayed in the film—or not!). Enjoy a pizza or other takeaway meal as arranged before the event.

Bible Study: Monday Afternoons
Valerie Peters invites you to study the Bible at her flat on the first Monday of the month in the afternoon. The group will begin by studying the Sunday gospels for the month ahead.

Equipping God’s People
A two year programme offered by Bristol Diocese through which people study Christian faith and explore developing their ministerial role. How about one or two from St Peter’s giving this a go?
