St Peter's has a strong choral tradition and the choir occupies an important place in the life of the church.
A message from Reg Parker, our organist and choirmaster..... "An anthem is sung at every 9.45am Sunday service, ranging from 1550 - 2006, many of which are sung unaccompanied. We wish to build on this strong tradition and are constantly seeking new members, particularly young ladies for the soprano and alto sections and of course will welcome tenors and basses. The present strength of the choir is 24. Choir practice is held on Friday at 7.30pm in church" |
