At St Peter's you will find a variety of worship styles.
Our main Sunday service is at 9.45am. This is always a service of Holy Communion, which may be Sung Eucharist or a Family Communion. The diary gives details of which service will be used each week.
-
Sung Eucharist. These services ususally last until about 11.00am; they are services of Holy Communion at which our adult choir sing an anthem. Our groups for children (Young Seekers and The Club) meet in the Hall during these services.
-
Family Communion is a service at which children and adults are present throughout. Music is led by the choir who sing a short introit. These services finish by about 10.45am.
-
Refreshments are served in the Hall after all 9.45am services.
You will also find an opportunity for reflective worship and 'something different' either during the week or at other Sunday services.
The Four o'C is a short service held once a month geared particularly towards young famlies. Read more about the Four o'C>>
Music plays an important part in our worship and we welcome new members to any of our musical groups. There are opportunities for people with any level of experience to be involved in either the traditional church choir or the informal music groups - singing or playing.
