ur church buildings are closed for public worship and for private prayer.

The Archbishop of Canterbury encourages everyone to participate in Spiritual Communion by saying this prayer:

Thanks be to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for all the benefits you have given me, for all the pains and insults you have borne for me. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, I ask you to come spiritually into my heart. O most merciful redeemer, friend and brother, may I know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day. Amen.

A Sunday Youth Service will be held at 11am via Zoom.

The Sunday Evening contemplative, creative and companionable service will be held via Zoom at the usual time of 7:30pm.

If you would like to try it, have a bible ready to follow the psalm and readings. The service can be found at however if you would like a service book delivered to you, please contact Mark and it will happen. 

Emergency baptisms can take place in hospital or at home, though subject to strict hygienic precautions and physical distancing as far as possible.

There can be no weddings in church buildings until further notice.
Funerals can only happen at the Crematorium or at the graveside. Only immediate family members can attend (if the crematorium allows) – that is, spouse or partner, parents and children, keeping their distance in the prescribed way.

Groups and activities
All groups and activiites have also been suspended, including Toddlers and Play at St Peter's, House Groups, and Church Council meetings.
