Faith Seeking Understanding: the Journey of Generosity

What is the Journey of Generosity?
The Journey of Generosity is a programme designed to help Christians to think more deeply about a lifestyle of service and generosity. Over three evenings, we’ll explore the message of biblical generosity in a safe, pressure-free environment. It is scripturally based, and involves discussion, prayer, bible study, and hearing stories of radical service and generosity from around the globe. This resource has been created by Generosity Path, a foundation that supports Christian philanthropy, in partnership with the Church of England.

Who is it for?
Anybody is welcome to join these sessions. It would be helpful if you could attend all three, as they follow on from each other, but if you need to miss one it’s not the end of the world.

Where and when?
Sessions will be held in the Meeting Room at St Peter’s Church, Henleaze from 8pm on Wednesday 4th, 11th and 18th September 2018. The sessions will be led by Clare Fussell, Mark Pilgrim and Matt Parsons. The Meeting Room is the first door on the right as you come into the Hall Lobby. These three sessions kick off the ‘Faith Seeking Understanding’ series running at St Peter’s through the autumn. The evenings will involve watching a short film together, leading into group discussion, and time for personal prayer and reflection. Sessions are free of charge, and refreshments will be provided.

Please let us know you’re planning to come, so we can arrange materials for you and provide sufficient refreshments.
