Centenary Celebration Weekend

Come and celebrate our 100th birthday and simultaneously say farewell to our Vicar of the last 24 years, Mark Pilgrim. First up is our Centenary Community and Vicar’s Farewell Party in church 7.30-10.00pm Friday 2nd October. As well as free drinks and nibbles, it will feature music and dancing with the FAB Twins playing superb Beatles covers and the hits of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Donations to Bristol educational charity Encounter Christianity will be invited. Then the 10am Centenary Celebration service on Sunday 4th October will see Mark Pilgrim preside as Vicar for the last time - but will also see a sermon from and the joyful dedication of the new Centenary Nave Altar by the Bishop of Swindon, the Rt Rev Neil Warwick.
