Mark Pilgrim, Vicar

Vicar of St Peter’s since 2001, I love seeing people develop and thrive as they realise the God-given potential within them. Aside from parish work, I am Chaplain to Queen Elizabeth Hospital School and an Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands. In leisure time, I enjoy a range of activities including sailing, squash, swimming, tennis, poetry appreciation and finger-style guitar.

Kandis Douglas, Curate

I joined St Peter's in July 2020, after theological training at Trinity College, Bristol. As a self-supporting minister, I juggle my work as a lecturer alongside my formal role of Curate in the Parish of Henleaze. I enjoy walking, reading, coding and playing my guitar.

Sarah Thomas,
Licensed Lay Minister

I have been worshipping at St Peters since 2003 and I love the breadth and wealth of Christian experience across all ages groups - it makes for stimulating conversations. I have two walking projects on the go: The Wales Coast Path and The Thames Path - complete contrasts.

Kathy Kilgour,
Licensed Lay Minister

I have been a member of St Peter's since 2006 together with my family when we moved in search of a local church at heart of the community in which we live. I am married to Ewan and, with a large family, I have a particular interest in encouraging and supporting family life. I enjoy activities which build community, especially those which work across the generations, including the Footprints Toddler group which I run. In September 2015 I became a Licensed Lay Minister. In my spare time, I enjoy tap dancing and reading and have been in the same book group since 2004.

Simon Collins, Youth Minister

I moved to Henleaze in July 2017 and am passionate about supporting my local church, schools and community. I am married to Helen and we have 3 children, I am a qualified Primary school teacher and have taught in schools in London, Egypt and Russia, and am currently part of the Learning Support Team at Henleaze Junior School. I enjoy cooking, sports, caravanning, reading and a bit of guitar playing. I have a heart for working with children and youth and want to see our young people grow as disciples of Jesus, as they explore their faith, wrestle with big ideas, develop a prayerful lifestyle and start to live out their faith in everyday life.
